Seating is available at our counter, the tables in our main dining room,
as well as the tables in our cozy back room, so when making your reservation please feel free to let us know where you would prefer to sit and we will do our very best to honor your request.
Please also keep in mind that we do enjoy an open kitchen and music throughout our dining room, creating an atmosphere that is energetic, lively, and vibrant!

A Note
Having had quite a few questions recently about why we do things the way we do,
we thought we would explain.
We here at The Waxwing, are a small, family owned and operated establishment. We have a relatively small dining room, a small kitchen, and a small staff. Because we opened right before the pandemic, we spent the first few years reimagining again and again what we do here and how to best make it work, for ourselves and our clientele.
Through a series of trials and errors, we discovered that having specific seating times rather than random reservations is how we are best able to put forth consistent, delicious food and drink while maximizing our tiny space. It is because of this that grouping an entire turn’s orders is so important, and why if you are late, we usually have to then hold your order until the next turn, which is often an hour later. Doing this any other way is indeed pure chaos.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope that this makes sense.
One other note…
We do open our doors right at 6:00 pm. Prior to that time, we are diligently cleaning, setting up, and preparing to provide the best possible experience for our guests.
If you arrive early and it is unpleasant outside, we kindly ask that you wait in your cars.
